Naegeli II

So this is a possible Naegeli grafitti, on the wall of a university building. Less elegant than the 'Udine', but atmospheric none the less. It was scrubbed off a few days later, and no conclusion was ever reached as to whether Naegeli, now aged, was actually behind this spate of grafitti or not. Naegeli was a mythic figure - a man who went to prison for his graffiti after years in exile, a reminder of another era, of the cold war and a time when a country would issue an international arrest warrant for someone who sprays paint on walls. 'A country' - Switzerland.
