Immigration

Went to Schlieren today, to make a portrait. Its on the fringes of Zurich city, with not perhaps the most comfortable statistics - 43.3% of the population are foreign nationals; whilst 40.8% of the voting population - i.e. not including those foreign nationals - voted for the SVP, on the right of the political spectrum. The last time I went there, I found this family group of Tamil origin sitting waiting for a bus. A man of Pakistani origin, who happened to be passing, translated for me. The lady had been here for 14 years, and so her children are from Schlieren.
